In search of the first points in CLJ
Both junior teams of the White Star lost the opening matches of the Central Junior League in their age categories.
Both of the White Star's junior teams lost their opening matches of the Central Junior League in their respective age groups. They have a chance to redeem themselves this week. On Thursday, the U-17 team will face local team Igloopol in Dębica, and on Sunday, the U-19 team will play a derby match against Cracovia in Rączna. Emotions are sure to be high.
CLJ U-17: Igloopol Dębica - Wisła Kraków, Thursday, 12:00
Unusually, on Thursday, the U-17 team will be fighting for more league points. Coach Patryk Jałocha's men will play away against Igloopol Dębica. In their opening match of the autumn campaign, Wisła lost 3-1 away to Jagiellonia Białystok and will now be looking for their first points of the season.
The Dębica team is in a similar situation. Igloopol was forced to concede superiority to Cracovia in the first round, losing 1-3.
Thursday's meeting is scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon.
CLJ U-19: Cracovia - Wisła Kraków, Sunday, 2:00 PM
Wisła's oldest team, competing in the Central Junior League, will be looking to erase the negative impression they left after their first round and a 4-0 defeat to Jagiellonia Białystok in Myślenice. Coach Karol Nędza's men face a prestigious clash with Cracovia in the second round of matches.
In their opening match, Pasy defeated Pogoń Szczecin 3-0 at home.
The derby match at the Cracovia Training Center in Rączna is scheduled to start on Sunday at 2 p.m.
