Wisła players are on fire! Summary of the weekend for the Academy's junior teams

It was a hugely successful weekend for the junior teams representing the Wisła Kraków Football Academy! The White Star's young players notched four convincing victories, with the U-13 team thrashing Garbarnia Kraków in the derby 13-1. On Monday, the U-14 team also notched another victory.

D2 Lesser Poland League, Youth

The U-12 team scored a valuable victory over the weekend. Coach Marcin Kordaszewski's team defeated Pcimianka Pcim 3-1. Zielonka, Szpiech, and Sitko were on the scoresheet.

After eight matches, Wisła Kraków has 19 points (six wins, one draw, and one loss) and sits in third place, five points behind AP Mam Talent Limanowa. Next week, the U-12 team will face their final match of the year when they play away against Górnik Wieliczka.

D1 1 Provincial League, Junior

The U-13s put on a real shooting festival last week. Coach Paweł Wasilewski's players dispatched Garbarnia Kraków 13-1 away in their 12th round match in the Youth Division I League. Tondera (x4), Bąk (x2), Potoczak (x2), Piotrowicz, Strąk, Kuś, Postołek, and Moskała were among the scorers.

Wisła are the leaders of the competition with 30 points after 11 rounds (10 wins and one defeat).

D1 Youth Regional League, Krakow

The weekend also saw a derby clash between the youth teams competing in the regional league. The U-12s shared the spoils away to Garbarnia Kraków, drawing 4-4. Wilczyński scored twice, while Brzykcy and Róg added one each.

After 12 matches, the White Star players are in sixth place with 18 points (four wins, six draws and two defeats).

B1 Junior Lesser Poland League U-16

The U-16 team also recorded an impressive victory. Coach Mickael Wolski's players defeated Okocimski Brzesko 7-1 at home in the 13th round of the B1 Junior Younger Małopolska League. Wisła held a 5-0 lead at halftime.

The goals were shared by Michał Pałka (3x), Jan Szczepaniak (2x), Wiktor Maziarz and Jakub Idziak.

After 13 matches played, Wisła players are in seventh place in the league table with 22 points (six wins, four draws and three defeats).

C1 I Provincial League, Trampkarz

To cap off the weekend's excitement, the U-14 team also played their match. Coach Michał Tyrka's men defeated Akademia Sandecja Nowy Sącz 4-1 in the 12th round of the competition. Król (x2), Uchacz, and Kokoszka were among the scorers.
