Wisła II Kraków draws with KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski
In the 13th round of the Betclic 3 League, Wisła II Kraków hosted KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Saturday's match ended in a goalless draw.
The match started calmly, but from the opening minutes it was clear that Wisła were well-organized and eager to secure three points in their attack. In the fourth minute, they created their first real chance from a set piece, but their shot went wide. KSZO attempted to respond with a long-range shot, but Chichkan remained alert. In the 17th minute, Szywacz forced a corner with a powerful shot, and a few minutes later, the game changed, with the visiting defender receiving a red card after a mishandling of the ball and a foul on Tokarczyk. From that point on, the White Star attempted to seize the initiative, creating further opportunities, including a brilliant move by the Szywacz-Tokarczyk duo. Despite Wisła's numerical advantage, the Ostrowiec team refused to simply defend and launched several attacks. Neither team was able to find the back of the net, and the first half ended goalless.
After the break, Wisła began to dominate possession, consistently building quick attacks in search of an opening goal. In the 55th minute, Sukiennicki came close, but the KSZO goalkeeper once again made a powerful save. Moments later, Olejarka attempted a long-range shot, but the ball sailed over the bar. Late in the match, Wisła had several excellent chances to score the winning goal, first after a double effort by Staszak and Sukiennicki, and then after Gap's shot narrowly missed the post. Ultimately, the match ended in a goalless draw, the first of the season for Wisła Kraków's second team.
