Wisła II: We're in the hunt for promotion! Victory over Jawiszowice

The White Star reserve team faced second-place LKS Jawiszowice at home in the 33rd round of the JAKO IV League. Wisła's team put in a strong performance, defeating their opponents 3-0 thanks to goals from Kamil Kaczówka, Kuba Wiśniewski, and Wiktor Szywacz.

From the start of the first half, both teams fought tirelessly to gain the upper hand and open the scoring. In the opening minutes, Jawiszowice players began to assert themselves, firing successive shots at Wisła's goal, but Kacper Szewczyk valiantly kept his team from conceding. The hosts also quickly began to make their opponents feel vulnerable and came up with some good moves. In the eighth minute, Mariusz Kutwy passed the ball down the right wing to Kuba Wiśniewski, who passed it to Wiktor Szywacz in the penalty area, but the striker's shot was off target. For the remainder of the half, both teams rose to the occasion, trying to disrupt their opponents' plans and find a shot on target. Wiktor Szywacz had a chance for the White Star with a long-range shot, but the ball sailed wide. Wisła's attempts were unsuccessful for a long time, but that changed in the 37th minute when Wiktor Szywacz shot towards the goal, the ball rebounded off a player from Jawiszowice and Kamil Kaczówka beat the visiting goalkeeper, as a result of which the team from Reymont took the lead into halftime.

More goals and promotion

After the break, the Kraków team immediately went on the attack, trying to find another way to the Jawiszowice goal. Wisła started the second half in the best possible way – in the 47th minute, Wiktor Szywacz shot into the top corner, extending their lead. The Jawiszowice players tried to respond to the hosts' attempts, but to no avail. The visitors' efforts were fruitless, but the fast-paced Kraków team didn't rest on their laurels, firing off further shots. In the 61st minute, they capitalized on their opportunities again, scoring with Kuba Wiśniewski, sealing the victory for their team. Despite the efforts of both teams, the score remained unchanged until the end. The White Star's victory allowed the hosts to maintain their unbeaten streak and secure promotion to the Third Division.
