Wisła II Kraków wins the PPN Kraków final after penalties!

Wisła ends their cup adventure with a victory!

The first half of the Polish Cup final at the Kraków level brought an even spectacle, with Wisła II Kraków and Wieczysta II fighting fiercely for control of the match from the very first minutes. Wieczysta started the match more actively, testing Kowalski's alertness several times, as he confidently made saves in the White Star's goal. However, Wisła's first dangerous attack resulted in a penalty kick following a foul in the box, and Olejarka flawlessly converted the spot-kick to give his team the lead. Wieczysta refused to give up and continued to push for an equalizer, which they achieved in the 37th minute after a well-placed corner. However, their joy was short-lived; just a minute later, Szywacz delivered a superb long-range shot, putting Wisła back in front. By halftime in the exciting final, Wisła II Kraków was leading 2-1.

Wieczysta went on the offensive from the start of the second half, trying to quickly close the gap. They even found the back of the net, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. Moments later, they could have equalized with a free kick, but the ball hit the post. Wisła focused on maintaining the score and consistently defended their goal, with Kowalski saving their team several times from dangerous opportunities. In the closing stages of the match, the White Star players continued to fight for every ball, but in stoppage time, Wieczysta equalized, leveling the score at 2-2. The final had to be decided by a penalty shootout. The penalty shootout was full of excitement from the very beginning, with Kowalski saving the opponents' first shot, giving Wisła the advantage. Szywacz, Tsymbaliuk, Molenda, and Ziarko confidently capitalized on their attempts, and Olejarek delivered the decisive blow with his second shot of the match from eleven meters out, securing victory for Wisła II Kraków in the Kraków-level Polish Cup final!
