Wisła II Kraków begins its participation in the cup competitions!
On Tuesday, September 2, at 5:00 p.m., the second team of Wisła Kraków will begin competing in the Polish Cup of the Kraków Sub-District 2025/26! Karol Nędza's players will face Liszczanka Liszki away in the 5th qualifying round.
After several unlucky league matches, Wisła will have the opportunity to try their hand at a different competition. The cup began at the end of July, but the White Star only enters the competition in the fifth round. This is a familiar competition for Wisła's reserves; last season they reached the final, where, after a 2-1 defeat to Wieczysta's reserves, they ultimately won the trophy with a 3-0 walkover.
Their first opponent in the current season, Liszczanka Liszki, normally plays in the District Class (Kraków II group). The team from Liszki began their cup campaign in the first round and has already eliminated Tęcza Piekary, Skawinka Skawina, Kabel Kraków, and Clepardia Kraków, among others. It's worth noting that their matches are prolific, with Liszczanka already scoring 15 goals in this competition.
Cup clashes often produce great matches, and the offensive approach of both teams promises a truly exciting spectacle.
