Wisła II: Victory over Unia by a landslide

The White Star reserves overcame a difficult period in fine style, claiming three points in the spring round! In their home match of the 22nd round of the Betclic III League, Wisła II Kraków gave Unia Tarnów no chance, winning 5-0. Karol Tokarczyk and Szymon Kawała scored twice each, and Mateusz Stanek sealed the win.

From the first whistle, Wisła set a high tempo and launched a determined attack. In the second minute, Bartosz Talar unleashed a dangerous shot that was met by Kacper Chełmecki, but the ball narrowly missed the crossbar. The hosts continued their momentum – a few minutes later, Maksym Tsymbaliuk also tried his hand, but his shot was narrowly off target. Wisła's advantage was clear, especially in midfield, where the hosts' attacking line consistently created further attacks. The Kraków team frequently created opportunities from set pieces, but the Unia Tarnów defense effectively held off for a long time. In the 27th minute, Maksym Tsymbaliuk delivered a precise pass to Bartosz Talar, who attempted to lob the goalkeeper, but the ball again failed to find the back of the net. Just when it seemed the first half would end goalless, the hosts finally got their way. In the 38th minute, Kacper Chełmecki displayed great confidence in the penalty area, brilliantly escaping a defender and passing the ball to Karol Tokarczyk. The Wisła player didn't hesitate – he slotted the ball into the net with a powerful shot from close range, opening the scoring!

Goal festival after the break

After the break, the hosts continued their attacking play, giving their opponents no time to catch their breath. In the 50th minute, Maksym Tsymbaliuk once again delivered a superb pass, this time to Szymon Kawała. The Wisła player struck the post perfectly, and the ball fell straight into the net, giving the hosts a 2-0 lead. Wisła showed no signs of slowing down. In the 57th minute, Szymon Kawała was fouled in the penalty area, which the referee immediately pointed to the penalty spot. Karol Tokarczyk confidently stepped up to the ball, and although Unia's goalkeeper sensed his intentions, he couldn't stop the powerful shot. Wisła were already 3-0 up and still hungry for more goals. In the 67th minute, Maksym Tsymbaliuk provided another assist, perfectly crossing the ball to Szymon Kawała, who scored for the second time in the match. The visitors were now completely dismantled, and Wisła ruthlessly exploited every defensive error from Unia. The Kraków team searched for more goals until the very end, and in the 80th minute, they finally put the finishing touches on the scoreboard. Mateusz Stanek, who came on after halftime, capitalized on his chance and scored Wisła's fifth goal, sealing a commanding victory.
