Wisła II: Draw in Ryczów
The White Star players traveled to Ryczów to face the local team Orzeł in the 34th round of the JAKO IV League. The match ended in a 1-1 draw and a share of the points, with Dominik Sarga scoring the only goal for Wisła.
The Krakow team entered the match against Orzeł Ryczów with a slightly different lineup compared to most previous matches. The coach decided to introduce players who had often started on the bench from the start, but also focused on youth players. The visitors faced considerable pressure from the hosts, which effectively thwarted the Krakow team. The home team exchanged passes efficiently, forcing the visitors towards their goal, while the Krakow team made every effort to break free. They quickly managed to break free of Orzeł Ryczów's control and opened the scoring in the fifth minute. Then, Wisła's players launched a move, leading to Marc Grau's shot on target. The home goalkeeper made a save, but Dominik Sarga found the ball just in time and slotted it into the net.
Much of the match, however, was dominated by bold attempts from the home side, leaving Kacper Szewczyk with plenty of work. The Wisła goalkeeper repeatedly demonstrated quick reflexes, preventing his team from conceding. Wisła's chances were few and far between. Dominik Sarga also had opportunities to score with a header and a long-range effort, and Wiktor Szywacz also had a chance to score from long range.
A difficult match against the Eagles
In the second half, the Orzeł players took the initiative again, creating further opportunities in the White Star's penalty area and once again engaging the opposing goalkeeper. For the first 15 minutes of the match, the visitors struggled to get out of their own half, while the home side repeatedly attempted to create threats in front of Wisła's goal. Finally, the hosts achieved their goal, equalizing in the 56th minute. After conceding a goal, Wisła began to take matters into their own hands and invade the Ryczów penalty area. In one of the visitors' best chances of the half, Michał Zimon delivered a free-kick into the penalty area, where Daniel Ramirez intercepted the ball, and Wiktor Szywacz shot on target, only to be blocked by an Orzeł player.
However, the referee soon awarded the locals a penalty, and once again the White Star goalkeeper prevailed, reading the goalscorer's intentions. For the remainder of the match, both teams continued to strive for efficiency and find a way to the opposing team's goal, but to no avail. Ryczów looked to capitalize on a chance in the 75th minute. Kacper Szewczyk made a brilliant save after an Orzeł player's shot, and another player attempted a bicycle kick, but ultimately sent the ball wide. Moments later, Kraków took the lead – Marcin Bartoń played a pass into the penalty area to Wiktor Szywacz, who fired over the crossbar. In the closing stages, Szymon Kawała brought the ball near the goal, passing it to Łukasz Staniów, who was about to reach the ball, but the Orzeł player was quicker and cleared it just in time.
