Wisła II: Defeat in Lubartów

This time, the White Star's second team traveled to Lubartów, where they faced Lewart away in the 14th round of the Betclic III League. The match didn't go as planned for the Krakow team, who were forced to concede superiority to their opponents, losing 1-2. Yehor Khromykh scored the goal for the Krakow team.

The first half of the match didn't produce any goals on target, despite plenty of opportunities. Initially, the visitors were the more likely to create scoring opportunities, attempting to launch attacks from the outset and capping them off with shots towards the Lubartów team's goal. First, Danylo Boiko attempted to head the ball into the net, then Wiktor Szywacz fired in a shot, and moments later, Mateusz Młyński headed in a corner, but each attempt failed. Wisła's efforts to breach the Lubartów team's defense yielded further opportunities and strikes from Filip Baniowski, Mateusz Młyński, and Maciej Kuziemka, but the score remained unchanged. Throughout the match, the home side continued to strive for control and a stand-off, but they didn't manage their first shot on target until the 41st minute, with Kamil Broda making a flawless save.

Lewart is better by one goal

After the break, the Kraków team once again pushed forward, creating further attacks and posing threats near the home goal. Yehor Khromykh, Mateusz Młyński on several occasions, and Wiktor Szywacz, among others, all had their chances to beat the Lubartów goalkeeper, but this time it was the home team who showed off their superior efficiency. In the 59th minute, a Lewart player headed the ball into the net, beating Kamil Broda. After conceding the goal, the Kraków team continued to mount concentrated attacks and made frequent inroads into the home penalty area, but their efforts were to no avail. The visitors didn't achieve their goal until the 77th minute, when Yehor Khromykh masterfully navigated the chaos in front of the Lubartów goal and slotted home, equalizing the score. The joy was short-lived, as the home team took control again after a few dozen seconds, capitalizing on their opponents' mistake and taking the lead once again. Until the end of the game, Wisła did everything in their power to change the course of the match, but they failed and ultimately had to swallow the bitterness of defeat, losing 1:2.
