Wisła II: maintain the winning streak
After a resounding 5-0 win over Podhale Nowy Targ, Wisła Kraków's second-team squad will be battling for more points in the Betclic III League. Wisła Kraków will host Czarni Połaniec, one of their league neighbors, at the Prądniczanka stadium on Saturday afternoon. The referee's whistle will blow at 1:30 PM.
Last week, the team led by coach Aleksandr Mikhailov overcame a three-game losing streak and delivered a resounding victory over Podhale Nowy Targ. Wisła's side dispatched their opponents with five goals conceded, taking a breather in the league table.
And now the White Star players face an extremely important match against Czarni Połaniec, who have the same points total and are two points below Wisła Kraków. The White Star's Saturday opponent has collected 16 points from 13 matches (four wins, four draws and five losses), and in the last round of matches they added one point to their account after a 1-1 draw with Podlasie Biała Podlaska.
For the players of the White Star's second team, Saturday's match will therefore be of extreme importance.
The match at Prądniczanki is scheduled to kick off at 1:30 p.m. Live coverage of the match will be available on the CFsport YouTube channel.
