Wisła II: maintaining the winning streak
More league action awaits us this coming weekend with the second team of Wisła Kraków. The White Star will play away against Avia Świdnik in the 10th round of the Betclic III League on Sunday. The referee's first whistle will sound at 12:00 noon.
Wisła will be looking to build on their recent 3-1 win over Star Starachowice and move closer to the top of the league table. However, Wisła faces a difficult task, as although the Świdnik team is 11th in the Betclic III Liga table, just behind Wisła, they have only suffered one defeat at home. Only second-place Podhale Nowy Targ found a way to beat Avia, winning 1-0 in Świdnik.
After nine rounds, the White Star team has 13 points (three wins, four draws, and two losses) and sits in 10th place. Avia, on the other hand, has two points fewer (two wins, five draws, and two losses). In their last two matches, they have recorded two draws against Wisłoka Dębica (2-2) and Podlasie Biała Podlaska (2-2). One of the standout figures in the Świdnica team is former White Star player Patryk Małecki.
The start of Sunday's match in Świdnik is scheduled for 12:00.
