Wisła will fight for points in the CLJ. Matches against Odra, Górnik, and Garbarnia

The weekend is upon us, and with it comes more clashes for Wisła's youngsters in the Central Junior League. The senior juniors will host their peers from Odra Opole in Myślenice, the U-17s will face Górnik Łęczna away, and the U-15s will face Garbarnia Kraków in a derby. All three matches will be played on Saturday.

Coach Patryk Jałocha's side will be looking to bounce back from last week's 3-2 defeat to Arka Gdynia. The Opole team also finished last weekend in a low mood, having to accept defeat, losing 2-1 to Cracovia. The hosts now sit fourth in the table with 48 points, while the visitors are currently 14th with 29. The White Star will be the favorites in this match, but they must remain vigilant, as their opponents will certainly be up to the task of securing all three points.

In the last round, the U-17s hosted Widzew Łódź in Myślenice. The hosts put in a strong performance in the first half, scoring twice and ultimately winning 2-1 despite a late surge from the visitors. Górnik Łęczna also had reason to celebrate last weekend, defeating Cracovia 3-1 away. Krystian Żakowicz's team is in 8th place with 35 points, while Górnik Łęczna is 14th with 22 points. Who will emerge victorious from this upcoming clash? We'll see soon enough.

CLJ U-15: Wisła Kraków – Garbarnia Kraków
Saturday, May 17, 12:30 PM

The team, led by coach Dawid Ślusarczyk, can also consider the past round a success. Wisła secured a resounding away victory over KKP Korona Kielce, thrashing the hosts 4-0. Marcin Berezka was the hero of the match, scoring a hat-trick, with Igor Zaszczudłowicz adding another goal. Now it's time for a derby match against Garbarnia Kraków, who recently lost 2-1 to Cracovia. Wisła currently sits in ninth place in the table with 29 points, while Garbarnia Kraków sits in a respectable fifth with 45 points. Wisła's young players will bring out their biggest guns to take down their local rivals on home turf. There will certainly be plenty of excitement.
