Wisła II Kraków faced another challenging match against Limanovia. The first half of the match was marked by attacking attempts from the hosts and bold responses from their opponents. The Kraków team quickly took control of their opponents, but the Limanowa team persisted, striving to keep pace with the victory-hungry Wisła team.
The home side built a cohesive attack from the opening minutes, and after one of them, Mariusz Kutwa sent a ground ball towards goal, but the goalkeeper intercepted it. Soon after, Dawid Olejarka had chances with a long-range shot, and Jakub Niewiadomski, who tried to finish off a set piece with a well-placed shot, but both lacked accuracy. The home side's consistency finally paid off, as Dawid Olejarka first deceived his opponents and then shot past the goalkeeper to open the scoring.
The Kraków team refused to settle for a single goal and quickly began to create further scoring opportunities. In the 29th minute, Mariusz Kutwa fired in from distance, forcing the goalkeeper to intervene, and a few moments later, Jakub Niewiadomski collected a free kick, which then fell to Dominik Sarga, who tried to capitalize on the opportunity, but was unsuccessful.
Domination and victory
At the start of the second half, the White Star's dominance became even more evident. Wisła took the initiative more often, dominating possession and boldly pushing into the Limanowa penalty area. After the break, play was mainly confined to the visitors' half, where the Kraków team continued to create opportunities to extend their lead.
In the 49th minute, Karol Tokarczyk delivered a powerful, but off-target shot. Moments later, the young Wisła player once again tried to make things difficult for his opponents, firing a left-footed shot straight at goal, but the opposing goalkeeper showed quick reflexes. Mariusz Kutwa, Jakub Niewiadomski, Dominik Sarga, and Karol Sałamaj all had chances to score in the second half, but to no avail.
The final quarter of the match proved particularly difficult for the home side, with a man down following Jakub Złoch's second yellow card, and consequently a red card. The Limanowa players attempted to capitalize on this, putting even more pressure on their opponents. The visitors created several good opportunities, but it was still the Kraków side who dominated, extending their lead late on. Following a miscommunication by the Limanovia defenders, Kamil Kaczówka intercepted the ball and slotted it into an empty net.
