Wisła II: defeat in the district PP final against Wieczysta

The Polish Cup at the MZPN level in the Kraków sub-district did not go to Wisła Kraków's second team. The White Star players lost 1-2 to Wieczysta Kraków's reserves in the final match.

The impressive adventure of Wisła Kraków's second team in the regional Polish Cup at the MZPN level didn't end with a trophy. In the decisive battle on the Jagiellonian University campus, Alexander Mikhailov's team had to succumb to the superiority of Wieczysta Kraków's reserves.

The pleasant beginnings of evil

The fans remained goalless until halftime, despite Wisła holding the upper hand. After the break, coach Aleksander Mikhailov's side struck the first blow. In the 52nd minute, Danylo Boiko headed Piotr Starzyński's cross into the net. Wisła then took the initiative. In the 63rd minute, Mateusz Młyński had a good chance to increase the lead, and moments later, Kuba Wiśniewski followed with a dangerous shot.

The final period, however, belonged to the opponents. First, in the 72nd minute, Wieczysta's players made up for the deficit. After a cross from the side, one of their opponents headed home Kamil Broda. Nine minutes later, Wieczysta struck the decisive blow, again with a header.

In the final minutes, Wisła attacked. Alexander Mikhailov's men created a threat in front of the opponents' goal, but they were unable to find the back of the net and thus turn the tide of the match.

The Wieczysta players were also delighted with their victory and lifted a large trophy.
