U-19: won the friendly against AKS SMS Łódź

In their second friendly match before the opening of the Central Junior League's autumn round, Wisła Kraków U-19 defeated fourth-division AKS SMS Łódź 2-1. Maciej Szmydt and Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz were on the scoresheet.

The oldest Wisła team competing in the Central Junior League continues their series of friendly matches. After facing Slovakian side Tatran Presov, Karol Nędza's players faced the senior side AKS SMS Łódź, who normally compete in the fourth league, in Myślenice.

Wisła were divided into three teams, each playing 30 minutes. Ultimately, the match ended in a victory for the White Star, with Maciej Szmydt and Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz scoring.

"We played three 30-minute periods, which allowed us to test all available players in various formations. Unlike the first friendlies, we played against the senior team, which also gave us a lot of material to analyze and what we still need to work on," concluded coach Karol Nędza.

On Saturday, Wisła will face Ruch Chorzów's U19 team in another friendly match. Kick-off is at 11:00 AM.
