A successful weekend for the younger players of the White Star
U13: Games Sport Tournament
"We played very good control games at the Games Sport tournament.
It was a valuable experience for us, especially since we were playing against boys. We were the only women's team in this tournament to win twice and draw once. The result was secondary, because what was important to us was the work we were working on in training, and we managed to translate that into the matches to a large extent," concluded Adrian Kruba.

"I think we performed very well at the tournament. We started the matches with a draw against a solid opponent, FSA. Our derby rival managed to make up for the one-goal deficit in the final action of the match. Subsequent group matches ended with favorable results for us, which fueled the team to fight for the highest goals. Ultimately, we finished second in the group out of six teams and advanced to the quarterfinals, where we faced UJ Kraków. After a close draw, we ultimately defeated Jagiellonian University in a penalty shootout 3-2. Then, in the semifinals, we faced Respekt Myślenice, who capitalized on our defensive weaknesses.
and advanced to the final, winning 2-1. In the third-place match, we once again faced FSA, who also lost their match to Staszkówka Jelna. Unfortunately, we had to concede the superiority of our opponents, who capitalized on their chances and scored four goals. We are definitely dissatisfied, as we had a chance to achieve a higher position, but I am very proud of my players, who today showed what football should be like and why it's a pleasure to watch, for which I thank them very much. We have a lot to work on, especially in the defensive phase, and we realize that we are still in the learning process, and the real results of our learning may not be visible until a few years later. I would like to thank the organizers for the excellent organization of this event," concluded Adrian Kruba.
Wisla Krakow Women -
FC SEDEM Namestovo 9:2 (2:1)
"The first half was relatively even. In the second half, the opponent weakened, and we had two teams on the day. The friendly was very much needed considering the break in the league. We thank the Slovak team for coming to Krakow and wish them success," concluded Andrzej Żadło.
