U-13: Participation in the Trzuskawica Cup tournament

Last weekend, coach Maria Kierzkowska's players traveled to Nowiny near Kielce to take part in the two-day Trzuskawica Cup tournament. Twenty-nine women's teams from Poland and abroad participated in the tournament.

On Saturday, the White Star players competed in Group C with the following teams: Ślęza Wrocław B, RFS Ryga, Respekt Myślenice, Bites, Piastovia Piastów and Czarni Połaniec.

They took 5th place in their group and on Sunday they fought for places 17-20 with the following teams: KSP Kielce, Karpaty Krosno and Diamonds Academy B.

After two days of good play and creating interesting actions in the tournament, the Kraków team took 18th place out of 29.

"I'm very happy we were able to participate in this tournament. The players performed well against teams from various parts of Poland, as well as teams from abroad. It was an interesting experience for us and another incentive to work even harder at training. We thank the organizers for the wonderful welcome and the invitation," said Maria Kierzkowska, coach of the U-13 team.
