U-19: Defeat against Zagłębie Lubin

Coach Karol Nędza's team traveled to Lubin to face local side Zagłębie in the 11th round of the Central Junior League. The Kraków team failed to secure any points in the match, and it was the hosts who triumphed, winning 2-1. Szymon Kawała scored the only goal for the White Star.

The first half of the match in Lubin was evenly matched. Wisła quickly created a good opportunity and capitalized on it – in the 10th minute, Szymon Kawała found the ball and fired straight into the net. Dawid Gap later had another good chance, but the visitors failed to extend their lead. The home side also displayed excellent form, eventually earning the equalizer in the final action of the half.

After the break, Zagłębie began to take control, but Wisła also persisted in their attempts, looking to capitalize on counterattacks. However, the White Star's efforts didn't yield the desired results, but the home side showed more effectiveness in the second half, hitting the crossbar in the 78th minute to seal the victory. The young White Star players took the initiative in the closing stages, but they ran out of time to turn the tables.
