U-17: Convincing win against Igloopol

The U-17 team, led by coach Patryk Jałocha, hosted their peers from Igloopol Dębica on Saturday afternoon. After the match, Wisła's players left the pitch in high spirits, having defeated their opponents 4-0 thanks to two goals from Jakub Czubernat and goals from Bruno Skoczek and Szymon Kawała. This victory closed out the first half of the season for the Kraków team.

The White Star players started the match brilliantly and put pressure on their opponents from the very beginning. The home side also began creating chances very quickly, taking the lead in the second minute when Jakub Czubernat headed the ball into the net after a cross from Bruno Skoczek. Wisła Kraków's young players grew in confidence with each passing moment and boldly broke through the Dębica defense, creating further scoring opportunities. In the 26th minute, the referee called for a foul on Kacper Trznadel in the penalty area, and Jakub Czubernat confidently converted the penalty. Wisła Kraków continued to push forward and within a few dozen seconds found the back of the net again. Mikołaj Podwysocki intercepted the ball and it fell to Bruno Skoczek, who without hesitation fired it straight into the net. At the end of the first half, the Igloopol goalkeeper had to catch the ball from the net for the fourth time, and Maksymilian Podwysocki was among the scorers.

A well-deserved triumph

After the break, the Kraków team pushed forward to extend their lead, while the visitors bravely and determinedly challenged the well-disposed White Star players. The match opened up more, but the home side held sway, maintaining control despite pressure from the visitors. The Igloopol players rose to the occasion, attempting to threaten the Kraków team's goal, but their efforts were ineffective. The home side also sought opportunities to score, with Kacper Trznadel, Bruno Skoczek, and Jakub Czuberna all trying their best, but the score remained unchanged. After the final whistle, it was the Kraków team that celebrated a strong finish to the season and a commanding victory.
