U-15: points shared with Niepołomicki Sport
In Sunday's match of the third round of the Central Junior League, Wisła Kraków U-15 shared the points with Niepołomicki Sport, drawing 2-2. Victory slipped away from Wisła in the final minutes of the match.
From the outset, coach Dawid Ślusarczyk's team controlled the match. In the 10th minute, Vladyslaw Kowalski hit the rim of the visiting goal. Three minutes later, Mateusz Surma headed the ball home from a free kick.
The Niepołomice team attempted to counter Wisła, but to no avail. Late in the first half, Vladyslav Kowalski once again shot at goal, this time finding the back of the net.
In the second half, the pace slowed and the proceedings became more frantic. Late in the match, Niepołomicki Sport players won the ball in the White Star's half, then managed to create a goal-scoring opportunity and score. In the final minute of the match, the referee adjudged a foul in the White Star's penalty area, awarding the home team a penalty kick.
One of the opponents converted a penalty kick into a goal, and both teams had to settle for just one point. The disappointment was undoubtedly greater for the young Wisła team, who squandered a two-goal lead in the dying minutes of the match.
