U-19: Cracovia crushed! Big win in the derby

This is the match we've been waiting for! The Wisła Kraków U-19 team defeated Cracovia 4-1 away in the second round of the Central Junior League. Pasy landed the first blow, but coach Karol Nędza's side responded before the break. The second half was a concert for Wisła, who more than made up for their opening defeat to Jagiellonia Białystok.

The match started well for the hosts, who took the lead in the 16th minute. White Star goalkeeper Wiktor Sierda lost the ball in his own penalty area after a tackle by a Cracovia player. Moments later, Maksymilian Czerwiński reached the ball and slotted it into the empty net.

Wisła's players didn't let their heads drop and equalized right at the end of the first half. In stoppage time of the first half, Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz converted a penalty kick awarded for a foul on Dawid Gap into a goal.

In the closing stages of the match, Wisła secured their first Central Junior League win of the season. First, in the 79th minute, Kajetan Świętochowski capitalized on a long pass from Sierda and a mistake by the Cracovia goalkeeper, and in the 88th minute, one of the opponents accidentally kicked the ball into his own net.
