U-19: Victorious clash in Szczecin
The Wisła Kraków U-19 team successfully started the spring season, defeating their peers Pogoń Szczecin 3-1 away. Radosław Wójcicki's penalty kick secured the victory, along with goals from Wiktor Benedyktowicz and Tomasz Dusik .
From the very beginning, the Kraków team showed significant offensive initiative, regularly threatening the home team's goal. In the opening minutes, their activity in the opponent's penalty area paid off when the referee pointed to the penalty spot after a handball by one of Pogoń's defenders. Radosław Wójcicki stepped up to the set piece and confidently beat the Szczecin goalkeeper, giving Wisła the lead. Somewhat surprised by this turn of events, Szczecin tried to regain the initiative, but it was the Kraków team that continued to exert the better control and maintain possession for longer. In the 38th minute, their efforts were rewarded once again. After a dynamic move down the right wing and a precise cross into the penalty area, Wiktor Benedyktowicz headed the ball into the net, extending Wisła's lead to 2-0. The Kraków team controlled the game for the remainder of the first half, preventing Pogoń from creating any significant threats.

After the break, the game changed, and Pogoń began to dominate, increasingly boldly pushing into the visitors' penalty area. Their efforts paid off in the 51st minute, when they scored a goal from a set piece. Their free kick proved precise enough to clear the wall and into Wisła's goal. The goal gave Pogoń a boost, which translated into even more intensity in their attacks. Wisła found themselves in a difficult moment, but ultimately managed to weather the pressure from their opponents. Despite numerous attempts by the home side, the Kraków defense remained calm, and their well-disposed goalkeeper made effective saves in key situations. Just when it seemed the match was heading for a tense finish, Wisła launched a counterattack that sealed the victory.
