U-19: Wisła wins in Greater Poland

The Wisła Kraków U-19 team secured a valuable 3-1 away victory over Warta Poznań in the Central Junior League. The young Wisła players put in a strong performance, controlling the game and effectively capitalizing on their scoring opportunities.

The match started with a strong attack from the visitors. Wisła took the lead in the ninth minute when Radosław Wójcicki confidently converted a penalty, giving the Warta goalkeeper no chance. However, the hosts refused to give up and equalized in the 33rd minute, finding the White Star's goal. Wisła confidently marched towards victory in this encounter and responded with another goal just before the break. In the 45th minute, Alex Bugaj, after a pass from Tomasz Dusik, successfully finished off a well-executed move, giving the Kraków team a 2-1 lead.

After the break, Wisła controlled the game, skillfully moving the ball around and preventing their opponents from creating any dangerous opportunities. In the 87th minute, Tomasz Dusik, following a pass from Kajetan Świętochowski, put the finishing touches on the score, scoring the "White Star's" third goal and sealing a well-deserved victory.

With this win, Wisła Kraków U-19 strengthens their position in the table and are now just one point behind Legia Warsaw, the CLJ U-19 leader. Despite their ambitious performance, Warta Poznań had to concede to their opponent's superiority and will look for points in their next matches.
