U-19: A display of efficiency and a high victory in Rzeszów
Coach Karol Nędza's men put on a spectacular performance in their away match against Stal Rzeszów. The White Star players comfortably defeated the Rzeszów team 6-1, demonstrating their attacking prowess and complete control of the match. Tomasz Dusik scored twice for the visitors, while Mateusz Maszewski, Dawid Gap, Wiktor Benedyktowicz, and Aleksy Rokosz added further goals.
From the first whistle, the Krakow team went on the attack, searching for opportunities in front of their opponents' goal, and it quickly paid off. Before the 20th minute, they took the lead thanks to goals from Mateusz Maszewski and Tomasz Dusik. The hosts initially tried to put the visitors on the back foot and managed to respond with a goal in the meantime, but Wisła showed no signs of slowing down. The visitors confidently marched towards victory, and in the 25th minute, Dawid Gap extended their advantage with a confident shot, making the first half 3-1.
After the break, Wisła continued their impressive display. In the 65th minute, Wiktor Benedyktowicz scored with a confident shot that beat the opposing goalkeeper. The Kraków team gave Stal no respite, and in the 75th minute, Tomasz Dusik scored for the second time. Just before the break, Aleksy Rokosz clinched the victory, securing a resounding 6-1 victory for the White Star.
Wisła Kraków U-19 once again showed excellent form this season, securing a perfect record. With this victory, the Kraków team strengthened their position as runner-up and still has a chance to take the lead in the CLJ standings, trailing Legia by just three points.
