U-17: Three points won in Rzeszów
Coach Patryk Jałocha's players traveled to Rzeszów this time to face local side Resovia in the 14th round of the Central Junior League. In this match, the Kraków team displayed excellent form and efficiency, ultimately defeating the hosts 4-1. Jakub Czubernat, Bruno Skoczek, Mateusz Kania, and Michał Pałka scored for the White Star.
The young Wisła players have had a difficult start to the fall round of the Central Junior League, facing significant challenges against challenging opponents. A week ago, the Kraków team lost 4-2 at home to Górnik Łęczna, so they approached Saturday's match against Resovia with a desire to rehabilitate themselves and improve their position in the table just before the end of the first half of the season. The White Star players faced the Rzeszów team with determination and pressure from the outset, creating scoring opportunities. Jakub Czubernat found the back of the net for the home team in the 10th minute, and before the break, the visitors extended their lead with a shot from Bruno Skoczek. After the break, Wisła continued their attacking attempts, and the Rzeszów goalkeeper twice more found the net after shots from Mateusz Kania and Michał Pałka. The locals managed to beat the White Star goalkeeper only once, so in the end it was the visitors who were happy with the three points.
