U-19: Breakthrough and victory against Odra

Wisła Kraków's senior juniors finally returned to winning ways. In the 28th round of the U-19 Central Junior League, they defeated Odra Opole 3-1 at home, with Radosław Wójcicki scoring a hat-trick.

From the first whistle, the match was evenly matched and played at a fast pace. Both teams showed great commitment from the outset, with play taking place primarily in midfield. Both Wisła Kraków and Odra Opole sought to break down their opponents' defenses, but clear-cut scoring opportunities were scarce. The visitors from Opole were the first to attack with greater danger, but Michał Szynkiewicz effectively thwarted the threat. Moments later, the Kraków side seized the initiative, responding with several well-organized and dynamic offensive moves. Maciej Pachel came close to scoring, as did Łukasz Staniów, who headed a cross from the left. However, Tomasz Dusik had the best chance of the half. After a brilliant pass from Radosław Wójcicki, he found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but the goalkeeper once again rose to the occasion. Despite several exciting moments, the score remained unchanged at halftime.

After the break, the game changed somewhat, with Odra taking the initiative. In the 60th minute, they launched a counterattack, which they managed to seal with a goal. The key moment of the match came in the 72nd minute, when a visiting player received a red card for a foul, leaving his team shorthanded. From that moment on, Wisła took complete control of the match. Radosław Wójcicki provided the signal to turn the tables, effectively finishing his team's attack in the 76th minute to equalize. Less than three minutes later, the same player scored again, giving Wisła a 2-1 lead. The opponents were still reeling from the second goal, as Wójcicki completed a hat-trick, sealing a superb performance and securing a 3-1 victory. The end of the match was completely dictated by the hosts, who dominated the game and did not allow their opponents to create any threat in front of their own goal.
