U-19: confident victory against Arka Gdynia

Wisła Kraków U-19 players notched another valuable victory in the Central Junior League. The senior juniors defeated Arka Gdynia 3-1 in Myślenice, with Tomasz Dusik, Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz, and Wiktor Benedyktowicz sharing the scoring.

Wisła recovered from their recent 2-1 defeat to Zagłębie Lubin in excellent style. Wisła's oldest team competing in the Central Junior League defeated Arka Gdynia 3-1 in Myślenice.

Coach Karol Nędza's men found the back of the net twice before the break. Tomasz Dusik opened the scoring in the 16th minute, and Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz beat the opposing goalkeeper in the first half.

After the break, Wiktor Benedyktowicz extended the lead, scoring off an assist from Adam Pieniądz in the 75th minute. Gdynia quickly responded with their first goal, but that was all Wisła managed on Saturday afternoon.

The White Star players added three valuable points to their tally and strengthened their position at the top of the league table with 22 points.

In the next round of matches, the U-19 team will face Odra Opole away, scheduled for Saturday at 12:00.
