U-19: One point in the match against Escola

The team, led by coach Karol Nędza, traveled to the Mazovia region this time for a league match against local side Escola Varsovia. The Kraków team earned a single point from a goalless draw against the league leaders.

The hosts displayed good form in this match, displaying high skill, but this didn't demotivate the visitors. While the Warsaw team enjoyed more possession, dominating the game, Wisła Kraków positioned themselves low in defense, fending off their attacks and seeking opportunities on counterattacks. The league leaders persisted in their attempts to break down the White Star's defense, but the Kraków team organized themselves very well in defense, and ultimately, the Warsaw team didn't pose much of a threat in front of their goal. They only managed to threaten Kraków once during the entire match from a corner kick. For most of the match, play between the teams was very tight and evenly matched, with fouls circulating on both sides. Wisła's players tirelessly brought out their heavy guns, trying to create favorable scoring opportunities, which they managed to do twice in this match, but ultimately it did not bring the expected results in the form of goals on target, so the match ended in a goalless draw.

"We faced a demanding opponent who forced us to defend low, but we did well in this match in this aspect. Escola dominated possession today, but looking at the overall picture of the match, I think the draw is fair. We would certainly like to show even more quality football against a strong opponent, and we will undoubtedly work on that. Regardless of the result, I think this match was a valuable experience for us, which will give us solid material to analyze, and, considering the players' attitude, also good prognosis for the future," said U-19 coach Karol Nędza.
