U-17: Defeat against Jagiellonia
Coach Patryk Jałocha's side faced Jagiellonia Białystok at home in the 16th round of the Central Junior League. The Kraków team failed to secure a victory, and ultimately, it was the visitors who secured all three points, winning 2-0.
After their recent draw with then-top-of-the-table Polonia Warszawa, Wisła approached their match against Jagiellonia Białystok fully motivated to prove their good form and collect valuable points. The White Star players rose to the occasion, attempting to counter Jagiellonia Białystok's opponents, but ultimately, it was the visitors who proved more effective. The visitors opened the scoring in the 38th minute, securing a halftime lead. After the break, they again threatened Wojciech Rak's goal and scored a second time on target. The hosts did everything in their power to strike back at their well-disposed opponents, but ultimately failed to deliver, and they were forced to swallow the bitterness of defeat at the end of the match, losing 0-2.
In just a week, Wisła Kraków's young players will play their final league match of the year. Wisła Kraków will face Igloopol Dębica in Myślenice.
