U-17: Derby inconclusive
In the 26th round of the U-17 Central Junior League, Wisła Kraków shared the spoils with Hutnik, drawing 2-2 in a thrilling derby. Maksymilian Podwysocki scored both goals for the White Star.
The first half didn't produce many clear-cut chances. Although Hutnik's players held the ball for a bit longer, their dominance in possession didn't translate into any real threat to Jakub Kowalski's goal. Wisła responded with ambitious play and good organization, but late in the period they made a mistake returning a cross. The home player capitalized on the opportunity and opened the scoring with a precise header.
After the break, the complexion of the game changed. Wisła took the initiative and began attacking with increasing boldness. Their efforts paid off in the 57th minute, when Maksymilian Podwysocki equalized. Just five minutes later, the same player scored again, giving coach Krystian Żakowicz's team the lead. Just when it seemed Wisła might tip the scales in their favor, the hosts responded swiftly. Hutnik's first goal scorer once again beat the Wisła goalkeeper, leveling the score at 2-2.
