U13 tournament in Licheń and U16 defeat in the Central Junior League
FairPlay Cup tournament in Licheń for the KPK U13 Federation Cup
"The tournament in Licheń was a very valuable experience for us, from which we will gain much more than from our recent league or friendly victories. The tournament organization was of a very high standard, as was the quality of the teams that arrived this May weekend for this event. The vast majority of teams from different parts of Poland were of a similar level, which meant that the matches were exciting until the very last seconds. As for the final result, we finished 13th in the entire tournament, which leaves us with a great deal of disappointment, as almost all the matches were, to put it colloquially, "close calls" in terms of final results. The team was also hampered by a serious knee injury to our key player, Amelka Kaszowska, who unfortunately was sidelined on the first day of the tournament. I wish her a speedy recovery and hope that injuries will stay away from this very talented player.
We return to Krakow without a podium, but certainly with an important football lesson in which we noticed other weaknesses that we will have to work on.
We would like to thank the organizers for this football celebration and I hope that we will meet in the next edition." - concluded Adrian Kruba

"We're still struggling with the absence of several key players. The halftime break saw chaotic play and individual defensive errors, which meant we went into the break with a 1-5 score. After the halftime break and two substitutions, the game definitely improved. Our goalkeeper's performance deserves praise; she spurred the team on with successful saves in this part of the match, and the second half ended 1-1," summarized Andrzej Żądło.
