Sławomir Chmiel signs a new professional contract

Sławomir Chmiel, a 23-year-old right-back, has signed a new professional contract with Wisła Kraków. The contract runs until June 30, 2026, and includes an option to extend it for another season.

Sławomir, born on January 5, 2002, returned to Wisła before the start of the 2024/2025 season and immediately joined the reserve team to help the team compete in the 3rd league.

Although he suffered an injury during the season that sidelined him for several months, upon his return he played 16 league matches, totaling 1,167 minutes on the pitch. He also made two appearances in the Fortuna Polish Cup, playing a total of 91 minutes.

Sławomir commented on the signing of the contract: "A year ago I signed my first contract after returning, and today I'm signing another one. I'm pleased that the club believes in me. I grew up in Wisła, and being a part of it is an honor. I want to play here for a long time."
