Sarga: We are a strong team

The White Star's second team impressively defeated Lubań Maniowy 5-2 in a friendly match at home on Friday afternoon, with Dominik Sarga particularly effective in the encounter, scoring two goals in the second half. The young striker assessed his performance in the match and spoke about his preparations for the start of the league season.

For the Krakow team, this was their third and final match before the start of their Betclic III League campaign. The hosts had to contend with minor issues before the match, but they demonstrated their good form during the match itself, scoring five goals. This friendly proved particularly successful for Dominik Sarga, who twice delivered a brilliant performance and showcased his footballing skills.

"We put in a good performance despite the problem we had before the match. We were very determined in the match, and everyone knew exactly what to do on the pitch. As for my performance, I think I played a good match and I'm happy with the goals I scored."

Over the past few weeks, the coaching staff, along with the players, have been working diligently to build a cohesive team. These efforts have yielded the desired results, and progress was evident during subsequent friendlies played by coach Bartosz Bąk's team, as the young White Star player recalls.

"Looking at our performance at the beginning of the preseason, we're now much better prepared in every respect, which is evident in our play during friendly matches. After a few weeks of training, we're certainly a more cohesive team. We've made significant progress, even compared to our first match against Rekord Bielsko-Biała, which motivates us to continue working hard."

The striker of Wisła's second team also spoke about the attitude before the start of the third league competition, which awaits the Kraków team on the first weekend of August.

"I'm positive about the start of the league. I think that as a team we can fight for the top spots in the table. We're very well prepared and we're a strong team. As for me, I'm feeling better and better on the pitch every week and I think my form is at a good level."
