Szymon Sobczak is the Fortuna 1 League player of December

Szymon Sobczak received ten votes and was named December's Player of the Month. The winner will choose a charity to which the tournament's title sponsor, Fortuna, will donate PLN 10,000.

In December, Wisła Kraków won two league matches, with striker Szymon Sobczak playing a key role. The 31-year-old scored two goals and provided one assist against Górnik Łęczna. His penalty kick opens the scoring against Bruk-Bet Termalica, a match that Wisła ultimately lost.

The vote was participated in by a panel of experts, including representatives of all 18 Fortuna 1 Liga clubs, the competition's television partner, Telewizja Polsat, the title sponsor, Fortuna, and the Polish First Football League. The winner of the online vote received 4 points, while each organization's nomination on the expert panel was worth 1 point.

Szymon Sobczak received 10 votes (6 expert votes and 4 fans' votes), Adam Radwański received 7 votes, Fabian Hiszpański and Kacper Śpiewak received 3 votes each, and Marko Dijakovic received 2 votes.
