The Academy's coaching and management structure for the 2024/2025 season
The Wisła Kraków Football Academy is preparing in full swing for the inaugural 2024/2025 season. We present the full roster of the coaching staffs who will oversee the continued development of Wisła's young players in each age group during the upcoming season.
In the 2024/2025 season, Wisła Kraków's second team, which re-joined the club last year, will play in the Betclic III Liga. As in the spring round of the JAKO IV Liga, which ended with promotion, the team will be led by Bartosz Bąk, supported by Aleksandr Michajlow. Krystian Żakowicz, who has worked with the 2009 team for the past three years, has joined the coaching staff.
Karol Baran will be responsible for motor preparation, while Sergiusz Michajlow will remain the goalkeeping coach. Ryszard Polak will continue to serve as physiotherapist.
Compared to last season, there have been no changes to the coaching staffs of the Myślenice U-19 and U-17 teams, which will once again compete in the Central Junior League. Karol Nędza, whose first season as head coach last season, will once again lead the U-19 coaching staff. Previously, he served as assistant coach to Adrian Filipek for three seasons. Alongside Karol Nędza, assistant Łukasz Kawa will also join the coaching staff of Wisła's oldest team in the Central Junior League.
For the fourth consecutive season, the U-17 team will be led by Patryk Jałocha, who, as in last season, will be supported by assistant Michał Sieroń and sports psychologist Karolina Woźniczka.
Mateusz Fortuna will be responsible for the physical preparation of both teams, while coach Sergiusz Michajlow will be responsible for goalkeeping training, supported by Piotr Zagórowski, who returns to the Academy after three years.
The CLJ teams’ physiotherapists will be Grzegorz Pietrzyk and a new person who will join the team soon.
Similarly to the previous season, Paweł Garbacz will be the manager of all Myślenice Academy teams (second team, U-19 and U-17).
Several new faces have joined the Krakow Academy. Mickael Wolski will head the U-16 coaching staff for the next season, serving as the link between the Krakow and Myślenice teams. He will be joined by Bartłomiej Zelek (who will also remain the U-9 coach) and Kamil Król, who spent last season as the U-15 team's assistant coach.
Dawid Ślusarczyk, who will coach the U-15 team competing in the Central Junior League this season, will continue to work with their teams, along with Michał Tyrka (U-14), Paweł Wasilewski (U-13), Marcin Kordaszewski (U-12), and Mariusz Sobala (U-11). Hubert Duplaga will coach the U-8 team, while Grzegorz Talaga will be responsible for the youngest team in the Wisła Academy's structure – the U-7 team (born in 2018). His assistant will be Gracjan Chruściel, who will also be involved in the Wisła Junior project.
Several specialists will join the Academy. Adrian Kaczkowski, who joined Reymont from Zagłębie Sosnowiec, will be assistant coach to Dawid Ślusarczyk on the U-15 team. Kaczkowski will also serve as an analyst coach. We presented his profile HERE .
Jakub Bubetty and Konrad Czajkowski are also joining the Wisła Academy. The former will be responsible for coaching the entire goalkeeping department and will also serve as goalkeeping coach for the U16-U14 teams. The 33-year-old coach returns to the Wisła Academy after three years – more information about the coach can be foundHERE .
Czajkowski, who spent the last five years at the BVB Łukasz Piszczek Academy, will coach the U-10 team and also coordinate the U9-U7 training department. He will also be responsible for the development of the Wisła Junior (U6-U4) project – we presented his profile HERE .
Marcin Czuż (the second coach of the U-13 team) and Jacek Słowik, who will be Mariusz Sobala's assistant with the U-11 team, are also starting their careers at the Wisła Academy. Both coaches previously worked at Hutnik Kraków.

"I'm very positive about the new season. With each passing year, it becomes easier for us to organize the coaching staffs for each age group. Of course, there have been some changes, but they have been minor. Most coaches will continue working with their current age groups. The league competitions will determine everything, but I have to admit that we've made a step forward," summarizes Krzysztof Kołaczyk, director of the Wisła Kraków Football Academy.
