On International Volunteer Day, we extend our best wishes to everyone who fulfills this role every day! Develop your passions, embrace every new challenge, and don't be afraid to discover new ones!

Volunteers are also an important part of the Wisła Kraków community. To celebrate their honor, we decided to take a closer look at their work! The Wisła Kraków volunteer team currently numbers 40 people, aged 15 to 25. Their primary responsibilities during matches include supporting the Family Sector, arranging sponsorship ads, and maintaining the image of the business community in the VIP Sector.

What does a typical day look like for Wisła volunteers?

The earliest volunteers begin their work, almost five hours before the match, is by setting up advertising around the pitch. This is one of the groups that spends the most time at the stadium, as they stay at the R22 area for about an hour after the match. Volunteers from other areas arrive two hours before the match and stay for 30 minutes after the match to complete their duties.

Volunteering at Wisła Kraków isn't just about helping others, it's also about developing your skills, pursuing your passions, and meeting players, legends, and coaches. Learn more about our volunteers:

· Emilka: "My volunteering journey began in 2019. One of my friends got me involved, and we still work together to this day. Currently, I work in escort services, which brings me great joy because I love children and love watching these little fans fulfill their dreams. Over the past few years, I've managed to finish high school and moved to Warsaw, from where I commute to every match."

Jagoda: "I joined the volunteer program this year, but I already know it's a wonderful environment with wonderful people. My first help was holding a banner. I stood by the pitch and had the opportunity to listen to the anthem from the pitch. It was such a powerful feeling that I'll never forget. I believe this is just the beginning of a wonderful adventure and the creation of beautiful memories that will last for years."

Zuzia: "I've been a volunteer for over two years. I applied through a recruitment post. At first, I didn't really see what it was all about, but I really wanted to give it a try. I found my volunteering spot in the Family Sector, and after a dozen or so matches, I was named the leader of that sector. One of my favorite memories is that I managed to inspire my two best friends to get involved. Little Zuzia never thought she'd meet so many footballers, but she did."

Patrick : "I have a story that always makes me laugh when I remember my early volunteering days. There was a meeting in the conference room with the kids. I was supposed to dress up as a dragon (that was my dream). I jumped into the costume as quickly as I could, but it's not as comfortable as it sounds. Unfortunately, I ended up smacking the entire conference room with my tail. I scattered microphones and signs, but the laughter was endless."

Olivia: "I've been at Wisła since August 2022, and I think this moment is one of my best memories. My job was to hand out stickers for the Little Wisła Player Album, but for me it was an unforgettable experience – after all, hey! I was part of this club. Walking around the pitch still evokes incredible emotions in me. Through volunteering, I met amazing people with whom I have many memories, and I was able to develop my skills."

· Boris : "My first match was on July 16, 2022, against Sandecja. My favorite zone is the VIP area. Besides this section, we have many other areas where I've also had the opportunity to participate. However, I must mention our wonderful community, where everyone is very important and you can have a great time on Reymonta Street."

· Bartek : "I've been volunteering since this season. Wisła is more than just a football team for me. Volunteering isn't an obligation; we're here because each of us wants to be part of this club and grow together. R22 is our second home, and we always give 100 percent, regardless of the result."

Thank you for creating the Wisła community with us!
