Christmas in Głogów: Preview of the Chrobry - Wisła match
This year's Easter holidays will be no short of football excitement. This weekend, for the 25th round of the league, FORTUNA 1 Liga teams return to action. Wisła Kraków will play their match on March 30th at 5:30 PM. Their away opponent will be Chrobry Głogów.
After the final league break of this season, Wisła Kraków will face the final stretch in their race for promotion. Their first challenge in this final round will be a trip to Lower Silesia, where the Kraków team will be determined to secure a full set of points.
This task may prove difficult, as the team from Głogów has been in excellent form since the start of the spring season. Chrobry have lost only one match so far, conceding superiority to Górnik Łęczna in a very close contest. Their last two league matches have been victories, one of which came on the extremely difficult pitch in Tychy. Last week, the Orange-Blacks also played a friendly against Lech Poznań, which ended 1-0 in favor of their top-flight rival.
For the upcoming match, the White Stars will be missing several players from their matchday squad, unfortunately still battling injuries. Compared to the last match, Rodado and Baena are out of the squad due to injuries. However, in the pre-match press conference, coach Rudé emphasized that his players have worked very hard during the international break – they have strengthened physically, and the players who have played fewer minutes so far are ready to be included in the starting eleven at any time.
Only victory, Wisełka!
