Draw with Myszków
In the 5th round of the 2nd PZPN league, Wiślaczki played a home match against KS Myszków.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Wisła Kraków Women - KS Myszków 1-1
Goals: Skibińska
Composition: Nowak, Górecka, Niemczycka, Dąbrowska, Baszewska, Kisielewska, Kokoszka, Fiałek, Skibińska, Kuśnierz, Kuciel, Kurek, Cop, Kemfe, Markiewicz, Mikulińska, Bryzek, Będkowska, Mucha.
"Today's match showed that the league is very evenly matched and that we can't afford to relax. Myszków is a strong team with a lot of quality in their squad. The first half went perfectly for us – we created chances and scored. After the break, Myszków came out stronger in the second half, but we started to lose the initiative, which meant that our opponents managed to equalize. I'd like to highlight a few positives: the team showed character, didn't give up despite the pressure, tried to find solutions, including in front of the opponents' goal, and almost succeeded, but we lacked better finishing in the closing stages. On the other hand, we lacked consistency in the second half – at times we lost the ball too easily, and there were some stoppages, which the opponent capitalized on. A draw is a point that could prove important, but it also leaves us wanting, as we could have tried to get three points.
Now we have hard work ahead of us; we need to draw conclusions and show our full potential in the upcoming matches. Thanks to the team for their fight and to our fans for their support – together we go further!
