The competition for the Title Sponsor of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium has begun.
A competition has been announced for the Title Sponsor of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium in Krakow.
By order of the Mayor of Krakow, Aleksander Miszalski, dated April 29, 2025, a competition was announced for the Title Sponsor of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium in Krakow. The winner of the competition will receive a range of sponsorship benefits, including the right to use their trademark in the stadium's name. Applications can be submitted until May 30, 2025.
The competition for the Title Sponsor of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium is organized by the Sports Infrastructure Management Board in Kraków and TS Wisła Kraków SA, the main lessee of the facility. The aim is to secure a Title Sponsor for the stadium, located at 20 Reymonta Street in Kraków, for a period of three years.
The Krakow stadium attracts thousands of people, both during football matches and other sporting and cultural events. This allows the title sponsor to reach a wide audience, increasing their visibility and reputation. As part of the sponsorship, they will receive a wide range of marketing benefits, including the right to use their trademark in the stadium's name, logo display on the building's façade and interior, promotion during matches, and VIP tickets.
"The announcement of the competition is a clear signal that the City of Krakow is open to combining city and business interests, and that these two worlds can work together effectively. Compared to previous competitions, this is the first time the city is cooperating with the club in this area. Thanks to this, we have created a more attractive offer for potential sponsors, as more benefits have been added, including those related to Wisła Kraków matches." – says Łukasz Sęk, Deputy Mayor of Krakow.
A committee was appointed to conduct the competition, consisting of Łukasz Sęk, Deputy Mayor of Krakow, representatives of the Sports and Recreation Center (ZIS), and representatives of the TS Wisła Kraków SA club. Each participant may submit one bid. Bids must be submitted by May 30th to the Sports Infrastructure Management Board at 10 Walerego Sławka Street in Krakow.
In the second stage, the committee will evaluate the proposals in terms of form and substance, and will also conduct negotiations with the competition participants, which will culminate in selecting the most advantageous proposal and signing an agreement with the title sponsor. Details are specified in the rules of the competition for the selection of the Title Sponsor of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium in Krakow and other competition documents published in the Public Information Bulletin of the City of Krakow.
"The competition for the Title Sponsor is one element of a larger undertaking: the commercialization of the Municipal Stadium. In recent months, we have been analyzing, among other things, opportunities to minimize electricity costs, but also to expand our service offerings to include space rental for various events, organizing stadium tours, and commercializing parking lots next to the stadium. We are rewriting the history of this facility, and a sponsor who joins our project could be part of that history." – emphasizes Tomasz Marzec, General Director of the Sports Infrastructure Management Board in Krakow.
The main tenant of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium is TS Wisła Kraków SA, which plays its home matches at the stadium. In the 2024/2025 season, the average attendance at Wisła matches is nearly 19,000 fans, while the average TV viewership is over 232,000. As a result, the club's media equivalent between July and December of last year was estimated at over PLN 53 million. These figures could also bring tangible benefits to the Title Sponsor of the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium.
"Over the years, Wisła Kraków has developed one of the most recognizable sports brands in Poland. The club boasts a rich history, numerous successes, and 13 Polish Championship titles. This translates into immense fan loyalty, which is extremely valuable from the perspective of a potential stadium title sponsor. Creating strong, direct connections with audiences is a goal not only for sports clubs but also for commercial enterprises." - says Jarosław Królewski, President of the Management Board of TS Wisła Kraków SA.
