In one of the final friendly matches before the start of the spring round of the JAKO IV League, the White Star reserve team faced fourth-division Klimontowianka Klimontów. The match ended in a convincing 7-1 victory for the home team, with Karol Sałamaj, Marc Grau, Mateusz Stanek (4), and Karol Tokarczyk all scoring.
Wisła made a solid start to the clash with the team from Klimontów, establishing their position on the pitch from the very first moments. The Kraków team put pressure on their opponents, creating good opportunities to take the lead. Karol Dziedzic attempted to open the scoring in the seventh minute, but Karol Sałamaj opened the scoring a few minutes later. Wisła collected the ball with a header from Wiktor Szywacz and fired a shot straight at goal. The visitors tried to fight back against the well-disposed White Star players, but they didn't manage their first and best attack of the half until the 25th minute, with Kacper Szewczyk displaying his quick reflexes. Wisła kept their opponents on the lookout for opportunities to extend their lead, which paid off in the final action of the half, when the Klimontowianka goalkeeper parried Wiktor Szywacz's shot, only for Marc Grau to finish it off.
The goal bag is solved
The hosts pressed their opponents even harder in the second half, creating further opportunities. The first chance to score came just a few dozen seconds after the break, thanks to Mateusz Stanek, who fired home from a pass by Filip Baniowski. Moments later, another opportunity presented itself for Wisła – Karol Tokarczyk sent a free kick over the wall, forcing the opposing goalkeeper to intervene. In the 60th minute, Mateusz Stanek finally got his way, heading Kuba Wiśniewski's cross, and exactly 10 minutes later, he again proved his worth with a second successful header. It didn't take long for Wisła to show off their skills. Soon, assisted by Karol Dziedzic, Karol Tokarczyk slotted the ball into an empty net, and moments later, Mateusz Stanek scored for the third time. In the 81st minute, the visitors managed to fight back with a goal, but just before the end of regular time, Mateusz Stanek sealed his team's victory with a ground shot into the bottom corner, making the score 7-1.
