Patryk Moskiewicz joins Wisła's second team!
Just a few days ago, the reserve team finished their league campaign, and today, a new player has joined the team led by coach Bartosz Bąk! 23-year-old Patryk Moskiewicz has joined the White Star, signing a two-year contract with the Reymont club with the option to extend it for another year.
Patryk Moskiewicz was born on February 17, 2001. He started his football career with Rataje Oleśnica and has also played for the Oleśnica Football Academy, Pogoń Oleśnica, and AKS SMS Łódź. This isn't the young defender's first experience with the Reymont club, as he represented Wisła Kraków in the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 seasons, playing for their youth teams.
In the following years, he remained a player for the Starogard Gdański Football Club, before returning to Kraków as a player for Garbarnia Kraków. He has since made 112 appearances in the third division.
Valuable experience
Coach Bartosz Bąk commented on the player's transfer. The coach noted the young defender's excellent football skills and extensive experience, which will undoubtedly provide significant support to other players entering the world of senior football.
"In the matches we observed, Patryk was a standout player. He brought a lot of the behavior we wanted from his previous team to the game. Beyond the purely athletic aspect, we saw in him the mental qualities we were looking for. As a player, he gives us options in two or three positions in our playing style, which broadens our range of solutions. He's still a young player with considerable experience in the third division, where he performed successfully, so we want him, combined with his character, to be a support to players starting their journey in senior football. The fact that Patryk has a background with Wisła is an additional advantage."
Patryk, welcome back and good luck!
