Defeat against Wanda Kraków
On Saturday, the White Star women's team played another friendly match before the start of the fall season. This time, they faced second-division team Wanda Kraków, which they lost to 5-2.
"We've had a match that had two halves in terms of the course of events. The first half was an even affair, with our team dominating the score. They quickly closed the gap and created several good opportunities, one of which was converted by Skibińska with a nice shot into the crossbar. The second half saw five changes to our lineup, and our opponents took the lead by scoring several goals quickly. Unfortunately, several of these changes were forced by injuries, and we were also without four key players.
We would like to thank the opponent for the game and wish him good luck in the league." - Tomasz Kaleta summed up the match.
