Summary of the preparation period for Wisła II Kraków

Wisła Kraków's reserves have completed a summer series of friendly matches, preparing for the autumn round of the 2025/26 Betclic 3rd League season. Coach Karol Nędza's players returned to work on July 7th at the Training Center in Myślenice. During several weeks of preparation, the team played six friendly matches, allowing the players to get into a rhythm and get ready for the league opener.

Wisła II Kraków 2:0 LKS Lubań Maniowy

85' Michał Prochwicz

88' Danyl Boiko

The first test for Wisła Kraków was a friendly against LKS Lubań Maniowy, played on July 11th. In the first half, neither team could find a breakthrough, and despite Wisła II Kraków's dominance, the opposing goalkeeper managed to keep a clean sheet for the first 45 minutes. The White Star showed their class in the second half and won 2-0. The LKS defense was only broken just before the final whistle, when in the 85th minute, Jan Molenda brilliantly passed the ball to Michał Prochwicz, who finished with superb style. Three minutes later, Wisła struck again. This time, Prochwicz provided an assist, and Danylo Boiko scored to make the score 2-0.

Wisła II Kraków 1:2 Ironi Tiberias

79' Adrian Rodado

The second friendly match was played against Israeli side Ironi Tiberias. The match was very evenly matched, with both teams creating numerous dangerous chances. The scoreless tie remained at halftime, largely thanks to excellent saves from the goalkeepers. In the 71st minute, the visitors converted a corner kick, taking the lead with a well-placed header. However, Wisła responded quickly with a spectacular team move, culminating in Adrian Rodado's goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, an unlucky defensive intervention caused the ball to deflect off Maciej Pachel after a pass into the penalty area and into the net five minutes before the final whistle. Despite fighting until the final minutes, the visitors won 2-1.

Wisła II Kraków 3:2 AKS SMS Łódź

(3 periods of 40 minutes)

57' Michał Prochwicz

64' Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz

115' Wiktor Benedyktowicz

The match was played at a high tempo from the start, and Wisła dominated the first period, although they failed to convert numerous attempts into goals. The visitors took the lead in the 49th minute, a quick counterattack after winning the ball in midfield culminating in a light but accurate shot from the corner of the penalty area. Wisła quickly equalized in the 57th minute, when Michał Prochwicz found the best position in the penalty area after a corner kick and finished. In the same period, Szywacz's free kick in the 64th minute was perfectly headed by Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz, who confidently shot the ball into the lead. In the 115th minute, already in the third period, Wisła increased their lead following a brilliant interception and a technical lob by Wiktor Benedyktowicz. Łódź scored a consolation goal in the final minute, but it was Wisła who left the field as the victors.

Wisła II Kraków 1:1 Dalin Myślenice

(2x60 minutes)

30' Michał Prochwicz

This time, the scoring was sealed in the first half. Despite a close battle, it was Wisła that scored first. After 30 minutes, Wiktor Szywacz provided an assist, and Michał Prochwicz opened the scoring with a close-range shot. However, Dalin responded just ten minutes later, in the 40th minute, a quick and surprising corner kick resulted in a powerful and accurate shot that gave the visitors the equalizer. In the second half, both teams had their chances, but their shots were lacking. The match ended in a fair 1-1 draw.

Wisła II Kraków 3:3 Podlesianka Katowice

33' Maciej Pachel

51' Michał Prochwicz

82' Hugo Woyna Orlewicz

The friendly against Podlesianka Katowice proved to be a goal-scoring affair. Two goals were scored in the first half. First, in the 33rd minute, Maciej Pachel gave Wisła the lead with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area. However, the visitors equalized the score with a swift attack a minute before halftime. The opening half belonged to the opposition, who capitalized on their opportunity in the 50th minute, playing the ball high above Wisła's defense to make it 2-1. Wisła's reserves responded swiftly, with Prochwicz breaking into the penalty area in the 51st minute and firing a powerful shot to equalize the score. Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz put Wisła ahead with a display of driving from deep and a well-placed finish in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, the visitors fought until the end, equalizing the score in the 86th minute with a counterattack from Wisła II Kraków after a quick win. The match ended 3-3.

Wisla II Krakow 1:1 Wisla Krakow

26' Wiktor Szywacz

In the last friendly match, Wisła II played against the first team. Wiktor Szywacz opened the scoring in the first half with a bold long-range shot in the 26th minute, which went just under the crossbar, surprising the goalkeeper. The first team came into their own in the second half, with Olivier Sukiennicki finding space in the penalty area after a brilliant dribble and equalizing the score in the 55th minute. The match ended in a draw, with several players, such as Radosław Skała, playing a half for each team.

It's time for the 3rd League!

After six friendlies, numerous tests, and intensive training, Wisła II Kraków is ready to enter the new season. On August 2nd at 3:00 PM, coach Karol Nędza's players will kick off the Betclic 3rd League campaign with an away match against Sparta Kazimierza Wielka.
