First personnel decisions in the reserve team
Wisła Kraków's second team finished the 2024/2025 season by remaining in Group IV of the Betclic 3rd League. The team's first personnel changes are taking place during the off-season, with several players already leaving the club.
Seven players who played for the second team last season and helped the club stay in the Betclic 3rd League are ending their careers with the Reymont club. Marcin Bartoń, Bartłomiej Fojt, Filip Gryglak, Jakub Madej, Michał Zimon, Maciej Jania, Radosław Wójcicki, Munyaradzi Mwakanya, Mateusz Stanek, Marcin Górkiewicz, and Bartłomiej Sowa are leaving the team.
Marcin Bartoń joined Wisła Kraków in July 2021, transferring from the Śląsk Wrocław academy. Since then, he has steadily developed within our academy. In the 2024/25 season, he played for the White Star's second team, playing 153 minutes in six matches and scoring one goal.
Bartłomiej Fojt joined Wisła Kraków II in January 2025 on loan from Hutnik Kraków. He had previously been associated with the White Star, training with the U-13 team. In the 2024/25 season, he appeared in two Betclic 3rd League matches.
Filip Gryglak joined Wisła Kraków II in the summer of 2024 on a permanent transfer from Wisła Płock. Last season, he played 12 matches for the White Star in the Third League, spending a total of 409 minutes on the pitch and registering one assist. The 20-year-old defensive midfielder previously represented Śląsk Wrocław, where he made his Ekstraklasa debut.
Jakub Madej has represented Wisła Kraków since his youth years. The MTS Piast Skawina alumnus gained experience playing in the CLJ U-15, U-17, and U-19 teams. In the 2024/25 season, he played for the White Star's U-19 team, making 12 appearances and clocking in 567 minutes in the Central Junior League.
Michał Zimon joined Wisła Kraków II in July 2023, joining from fourth-division Polonia Nysa. A Piast Strzelce Opolskie alumnus, born on December 10, 2002, Zimon helped the team achieve promotion to the Betclic 3rd League in the 2023/24 season. In the following 2024/25 season, he made 11 appearances, playing 565 minutes and scoring two goals.
Maciej Jania , born on August 26, 2006, has been with Wisła Kraków since 2019. During this time, he has played for the U-15, U-17, and U-19 teams, serving as captain of the U-17 team. Last season, he played 19 matches for the U-19 team as captain, scoring 2 goals and spending 1,574 minutes on the pitch, and for Wisła Kraków II he appeared in 5 matches, for a total of 417 minutes.
Radosław Wójcicki , a striker born on January 15, 2006 and a product of Odra Opole, joined Wisła Kraków during the 2022/2023 season, transferring from Escola Varsovia. In the 2024/25 season, he made 26 appearances for the U-19 team in the Central Junior League, scoring 13 goals and playing 1,509 minutes. He also made two appearances for Wisła Kraków II that same season, playing 47 minutes.
Munyaradzi Mwakanya , born in Zimbabwe in 2003, joined Wisła Kraków II in February of the 2024/2025 season on a permanent transfer from Pogoń Kraków, where the striker had previously excelled in the regional league and the Polish Cup. He has made six appearances for the White Star's second team.
Mateusz Stanek , born on March 2, 2005, joined Wisła Kraków from Karol Wadowice before the 2019/20 season. He previously played for Astra Spytkowice. He made his first appearances at Reymonta for the U-15 team, and from the 2023/2024 season, he represented the White Star's second team. In the 2024/2025 season, he played 20 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist in 900 minutes on the pitch.
Marcin Górkiewicz , born on April 13, 2005, has been a member of the Wisła Kraków Football Academy since the 2019/20 season. He started his career at Pogórze Gierałtowice and then represented Unia Oświęcim's youth teams. In the 2024/2025 season, he was loaned to Unia Tarnów, where he played 26 matches, totaling 2,270 minutes on the pitch.
Bartłomiej Sowa , born on June 12, 2005, is a Wisła Kraków academy graduate, joining in the 2011/2012 season. Over the years, he has systematically progressed through the Academy training stages, and in the 2023/2024 season, he was included in the reserve team and played for the U-19 team. In the 2024/2025 season, he was on loan at Unia Tarnów, where he played 15 games and scored 4 goals in the 3rd League.
