First personnel decisions in the reserve team
After a remarkably successful season, Wisła's second team can now enjoy a well-deserved break from training and league competition. During the break, the team has undergone personnel changes, and the first-team players are bidding farewell to the Wisła team.
The team's build-up process ahead of the league campaign is tied to the recent personnel changes taking place within the team led by coach Bartosz Bąk. The staff is currently seeking reinforcements and is also in talks with current players regarding their futures.
Five players who played for the second team last season and contributed to their promotion are ending their careers with the Reymont club. Jakub Niewiadomski, Piotr Ćwik, Maciej Hajdara, Oliwier Micek, and Arkadiusz Krzyżanowski are leaving the team.
These players have competed in numerous matches over the past few months, demonstrating excellent performances. Jakub Niewiadomski played a staggering 2,528 minutes last season, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists. The player has been with the White Star for several years and has also played for the first team.
Piotr Ćwik has been known at Reymont for a long time and last campaign he spent 655 minutes on the pitch, scoring 2 goals and recording as many as 6 assists.
Another player, Arkadiusz Krzyżanowski, returned to Wisła during the winter break from Dalin Myślenice, where he had been on loan. The goalkeeper appeared between the posts in four matches for 291 minutes, keeping two clean sheets.
Oliwier Micek and Maciej Hajdara joined the Wisła team mid-season. The former joined Wawel on a temporary transfer from Warta Gorzów Wielkopolski and has played 534 minutes. The latter was on loan from Podhale Nowy Targ and played 508 minutes, scoring one goal.
Gentlemen, thank you for representing Wisła colours with dignity and we wish you good luck in your further career!
