Wisła Women: First victory in the second league!

The first team hosted UJ Prądniczanka Kraków on Sunday afternoon. The match ended in a 0-2 victory for the White Star, with goals from Siwek and Będkowska.

"The first half was played mainly in midfield, with several scoring opportunities for both the visitors and the home team. Our plan called for increasingly bold attacks as the game wore on, and ultimately, with very good defense, two quick attacks resulted in goals. It's also worth applauding the opponent, who tried to play the ball on the ground, trying to build coherent attacks. We thank the UJ II team for the match and wish them good luck in their future matches," concluded Wisła coach Tomasz Kaleta.

Every Little Wisła Album holder who attends home matches at R22 is entitled to a dedicated sticker. It can be collected before the match and during halftime in the lower section of Stand F, as well as up to an hour after the final whistle at the POK.

Angel Rodado is the Betclic 1 League player of July and August

Angel Rodado received nine votes and was named the Betclic 1st League Player of the Month for July and August. The winner selected a charity to which the tournament's title sponsor, Betclic, will donate PLN 10,000.

Wisła Kraków faced two battles in July and August: European competition and the Betclic 1 League. Wisła Kraków came close to advancing to the group stage of the Europa Conference League, but ultimately had to concede victory to Cercle Brugge in a two-legged tie. Meanwhile, Kazimierz Moskal's side also competed in the Betclic 1 League, where Angel Rodado scored six goals in five matches.

Tadeusz Czerwiński passed away at the age of 84

Tadeusz Czerwiński, vice-president of TS Wisła Kraków in the 1970s, member of the Supervisory Board of Wisła Kraków, and president of the club in 2004, has passed away at the age of 84. Rest in peace.

We know the date of the 12th round of the Betclic 1 League

Due to planned broadcasts, the Polish Football Association's Domestic Competitions Department has set the dates for the 12th round of the Betclic 1 League. Dawid Olejarka on loan to MKS Znicz Pruszków

White Star midfielder Dawid Olejarka leaves the Wisła dressing room and moves to MKS Znicz Pruszków on a one-year loan.

In July 2023, the player joined Wisła Kraków. During this time, he appeared in nine league matches and three Polish Cup matches. During his time in Kraków, Dawid scored twice, scoring in the match against Arka Gdynia and Lechia Gdańsk in the Polish Cup Round of 32. We wish you the best of luck, Dawid!
