Wisła Kraków projects in the final of the 2025 Citizens' Budget
We are pleased to announce that all projects submitted by Wisła Kraków have qualified for the final stage of the 2025 Participatory Budget of the City of Kraków. This is a great opportunity to work with fans to implement unique initiatives related to the White Star, which also form part of the celebrations of our club's 120th anniversary.
Four projects were submitted to the final vote:
- Checkmate at R22 – No. 205 (a district-wide project). The Chess Tournament is an initiative for 200 children and young people, aimed at promoting chess, developing intellectual skills, and building ties within the local community through exciting competition and good fun. Details HERE ;
- Wisła Run with the Dragon – No. 182 (district-wide project). The Wisła Kraków Dragon Run is part of the 120th anniversary celebrations of Wisła Kraków and an opportunity for the entire White Star community to come together to celebrate its magnificent heritage, combining their love of sport and the Club's history. - Wisła Kraków Alley of Stars – No. 156 (district-wide project). The Wisła Kraków Walk of Fame project aims to promote the club's history among Krakow residents and Wisła Kraków fans by commemorating the greatest sports legends associated with the club. Details HERE ;
- Wiślacki Smok – No. 23 (district project – Krowodrza). This proposal involves erecting a dragon statue with a ball at its feet near the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium in Krakow. This statue is a symbolic combination of traditional Krakow symbolism with football elements. Details HERE .
Voting will take place from September 19 to October 3, 2025 (until midnight).
Every resident of Krakow will be able to vote for three city-wide projects and three district projects – it is extremely important to do it correctly, because only then will the vote be valid.
