Polish Cup: Battle for the semi-final!

On Wednesday, February 28th, we'll be hosting the highly anticipated quarterfinal match of the 70th Polish Cup. Widzew Łódź will be visiting Krakow, promising a fantastic spectacle both on the pitch and in the stands. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM, and this will be the final match of the quarterfinals.

Łódź has been on a roll lately. Coach Daniel Myśliwiec's side have won their last two league matches. In the away derby, they defeated ŁKS 0-2, and in the next round, they proved better than Górnik Zabrze, winning 3-1. A boost in form just before such an important cup clash could inspire optimism among our friendly rivals, but also provide additional motivation for the White Star players.

The upcoming match will be marked by numerous historical highlights. Wisła and Widzew are, above all, two renowned brands whose colors have been represented by outstanding players and coaches over the years. Both teams boast a considerable number of trophies, and this year's Polish Cup is a real opportunity to expand their current achievements and write their name into the club's annals.

The last time these two teams faced each other in the Polish Cup was two years ago. Wisła Kraków prevailed away from home, winning 1-3 thanks to two goals from Kliment and a strike from Forbes. We're all hoping for a similar result, this time at 22. We're counting on your support, which could be crucial in our quest to win the coveted trophy. We've already surpassed 22,000 tickets, and more are still being sold. Everything points to the Wisła vs. Widzew match being one of the most exciting sporting events of the season!

Other quarter-final pairs:

Piast Gliwice – Raków Częstochowa
