Defeating the Namesake: #WISWPŁ Preview
The 31st round of the Betclic 1st League will be played today at the Reymonta Stadium. Wisła Płock, currently in second place, will face the White Star. Supported by the cheering of tens of thousands of fans, Wisła will have a chance to continue their excellent run and thus move closer to the top of the league table.
Wisła Kraków currently sits in fifth place in the table, returning to the Reymont Stadium after drawing with Nieciecza. Ángel Rodado is the home team's leading scorer in attack – he's responsible for most of the team's goals, exploiting even the smallest gaps in defense. Bartosz Jaroch, whose confidence and tenacity have given him the most minutes on the pitch, often setting up the team's play from the back, is also worth noting.
Wisła Płock sits in third place and is keen to utilize the skills of Jorge Jimenez – an 11-goal scorer who can surprise opponents with his pace and vision. Dominik Kun is also a key player in their lineup, whose presence on the pitch is crucial in controlling the tempo of the game and building play from midfield.
In the last five meetings between the two teams, the Kraków team has won once, the visitors twice, and two matches have ended in draws. The most recent meeting in October 2024 ended in a 3-1 victory for Wisła Kraków.
See you at the stadium - the fight starts at 8:30 PM!
