Patryk Letkiewicz makes his debut in the Betclic 1 League
Another Academy graduate who can boast a first-division debut is goalkeeper Patryk Letkiewicz. The young Wisła player showcased his goalkeeping skills, starting between the posts from the start of the league match against Odra Opole in the 11th round of the Betclic 1 Liga.
Patryk Letkiewicz joins the ranks of alumni making their debuts in the Wisła Kraków first team. The goalkeeper began his journey with the Wisła Kraków Football Academy in July 2021. Formally, after two seasons in the junior teams, he began the 2023/2024 season as the second-team's first-choice goalkeeper, but after playing four matches, he moved to Wieczysta Kraków on a one-year loan, where his regular appearances helped the team achieve promotion to the second division.
At the start of the current season, he returned to Reymont and appeared in three matches for Wisła's second team full-time, but he also trained with the first team from the very beginning. He was on the bench in matches against ŁKS Łódź and Warta Poznań, and in the match against Odra Opole, 19-year-old Letkiewicz finally made his dream debut for the first team under coach Mariusz Jop.
Congratulations!
